Rotarian Gene Cook will be introducing the 2013 Farmer of the Year.  This year's recipient is M. Mac Griffith, who owns 225 acres in Haralson County and has been farming for many years.  He has primarily been a cattle farmer.  He and his wife, Sara Ann, raised three boys, who were also involved with the cattle industry.  Mac's son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Tracey Griffith, a previous recipient, will be a guest of the Club.

Dorothea Graham, County Extension Coordinator, will be speaking about the disappearance of farming in Haralson County, among other things.

The Club looks forward to honoring the 46th Farm Family of the Year recipient, Mr. J. Mac Griffith, a legend in Haralson County farming.
