Join us this week to hear Rotarian Freddy Morello talk about the Atlanta Clubhouse. You can join us at LeMeridien or on Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86202979419.
A native New Yorker, Freddy has spent over a decade leading vocational rehabilitation programs, called Clubhouses, up and down the east coast. Starting his career at Fountain House, the first and largest Clubhouse in the world, he worked his way up from a Supportive Housing case worker to managing the Employment Resource Center, as the Director of Employment Services, which he was instrumental in designing and implementing.
From there, Freddy moved to Massachusetts where he took control of the Lighthouse, one of the leading Clubhouses in the state. Freddy returned to New York to help develop and lead a startup Clubhouse before moving down to Florida with his wife and two children to lead a program, the first Internationally Accredited Clubhouse in the Sunshine State.
Now as the Executive Director of the Clubhouse Atlanta team, Freddy brings his years of experience to the Dunwoody area with the goal of creating one of the top Clubhouses not only in the state, but throughout the world. Freddy is a member of the Clubhouse International Faculty where he has been privileged to travel the world, learning, educating, accrediting, and spreading the mission of Clubhouse International.
Freddy is a graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Queens College, where he received a Master’s Degree in Urban Affairs.
