Stephen Garner, Esquire

Terry Williamson introduced Stephen Garner, local attorney, to speak to Rotary. Mr. Garner gave a lively talk about "Country Lawyer Lessons" beginning with Lesson 1 - It all begins with the Golden Rule: Treat folks the way you want to be treated yourself. It's in the Bible, it's true; and it's the right thing to do. The last lesson was -- When you boil it all down, trial lawyers are just story tellers. Be sure the story you are telling is true, one worth telling, and known well enough by you, so you can tell it in a compelling manner.
