Garland Robinson was born in Carrollton, but moved to Bremen in 1953. He moved to Marietta 7 years later in high school, but returned to Bremen in 2002 after 42 years. He was married for 30 years and has 2 daughters, 1 grandson and 3 granddaughters. After retiring from AT&T, where he worked for 33 years, he started his own communications business. Upon his return to Bremen, Mr. Robinson started digging for some history and did not find very much, especially pictures. He then began compiling his own collection for future generations. So far the collection owns several hundred pictures of Bremen and people who have lived there.
Mr. Robinson brought to Rotary a video of pictures from Bremen circa 1947. It was an incredible presentation.
Sticking with the Vintage style, Garland is a member of the local car club. He states that starting on the 2nd Saturday in April, his club will meet and show their cars in downtown Bremen.
